June 16, 2006 - WASHINGTON — House
lawmakers rejected a timetable to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq
on Friday in a Republican push to put war positions on the
record.
The House passed a nonbinding
resolution in a 256-153 vote that would praise U.S. troops, link
the Iraq war to the global War on Terror and reject an
"arbitrary date for the withdrawal or redeployment"
for not being in the national interest.

"Today, the House of
Representatives voted to stand up for freedom. We are pleased
that 42 Democrats defied their leadership and stood with House
Republicans to support both our troops and their mission to win
the global War on Terror," House Speaker Dennis Hastert,
R-Ill., said in a statement.
Forty-two Democrats voted for
the resolution and three Republicans voted against it.
"I will vote against this
resolution because it is an affirmation of the president's
failed policy in Iraq," said House Minority Leader Nancy
Pelosi, democrat-Calif. "The war in Iraq has been a
grotesque mistake .. stay the course? I don't think so, Mr.
President."

Gustavo Garcia (aka: Gustavo Rayes, aka:
Gustavo Rayes Garcia)
The case of Gustavo Garcia
(aka: Gustavo Rayes, aka: Gustavo Rayes Garcia), an illegal
immigrant driver, who allegedly killed a Mount Juliet, TN.,
couple while fleeing police became an issue in the governor’s
race Monday.
State Sen. Jim Bryson, a Republican gubernatorial hopeful, and
Heather Lynn Steffek, daughter of the couple killed in the June
8 crash, criticized .......
democrat Gov. Phil Bredesen’s
............ opposition to having Tennessee
Highway Patrol officers enforce federal immigration law.
Sen. Bryson, R-Franklin, accused democrat Gov. Bredesen
of "leadership failure" for blocking a bill this year
that would have required federal training in immigration law for
some patrol officers.
"I will be talking a lot about this issue," Sen.
Bryson said. "It will be a part of our platform, and we
will have the most stringent illegal immigration policy in
America. It’s too important an issue to ignore. Lives are
literally at stake."
Prior to Sen. Bryson’s news conference, Gov. Bredesen said he
did not want to turn the Highway Patrol into an arm of the
federal Immigration and Naturalization Service.
"I think doing that’s just trying to make political hay
out of a difficult problem," he said.
Earlier this month, according to news accounts, Donna and Sean
Wilson died when a vehicle driven by illegal immigrant Gustavo
Garcia, 28, crashed into the couple’s car as he sought to
elude police. He faces vehicular homicide charges.
"No one should ever have to feel this way," said Ms.
Steffek, the Wilsons’ daughter. "Part of the shock of
this tragedy is learning there are simply no laws in place at
the local or state levels to aid deportation of a serial
criminal who is an illegal alien.
"Those local and state governments let my family
down," she said.
Nashville’s City Paper reported Mr. Garcia had four previous
DUIs among 17 police encounters that began in 2001. The
encounters included a May 21, 2001, speeding ticket issued by
the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Tennessee Safety Department
spokeswoman Julie Oaks said.
Subsequent encounters included assaulting a police officer, but
federal immigration authorities appear not to have been
notified.
"I think clearly something broke down in the system where
somebody could be arrested as many times as this person
apparently was and federal authorities not be informed,"
Gov. Bredesen said.
Bredesen campaign spokesman Will Pinkston said in a statement
that Sen. Bryson was "trying to exploit what is obviously a
tragic situation."
Sen. Bryson said Ms. Steffek initially contacted him.
At least two states, Alabama and Florida, have entered into
agreements with the federal government to enforce federal
immigration law.
Sen. Bryson vowed to require local governments to enforce
immigration law.
Larry Goodwin, president of the Tennessee Association of Chiefs
of Police, urged Sen. Bryson to reconsider.

illegals will cut into their Speed Traps! Webmaster)

ENRON & THE PRESIDENT
How
Enron Worked the President ... (This is an interesting bit
of information that you
don't hear much about.)
A. Enron's chairman did meet with the President and the Vice
President in the Oval Office.
B.. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three
years.
C.. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.
D.. The Enron chairman stayed at the White
House 11 times.
E.. The corporation had access to the administration at its
highest level and even
enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals
for it.
F.. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized
Enron for more than
$600 million in just one transaction. This
is SCANDALOUS!

NOT George W. Bush.

"..the U.S.

Sept. 11, 2001" - Al Gore, Feb 12, 2006

TRAITOR!
The 7th Jedda Economic Forum; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia --
02-12-2006:
Former Vice-President (and losing Presidential candidate)
Al Gore told a Saudi audience on Sunday that the U.S. government
committed "terrible abuses" against Arabs after the
Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and that most Americans did not support
such treatment.
The swarmy Gore said Arabs had been "indiscriminately
rounded up" and held in "unforgivable"
conditions. The bitter loser (who didn't even carry his home
state in losing the 2000 Presidential election) said the
Bush administration was playing into al-Qaida's hands by
routinely blocking Saudi visa applications.
"The thoughtless way in which visas are now handled,
that is a mistake," Gore (who was vice-president in the
administration that did nothing to get Bin Laden after the USS
Cole attack or the FIRST World Trade Center bombing) said
during the Jeddah Economic Forum. "The worst thing we can
possibly do is to cut off the channels of friendship and mutual
understanding between Saudi Arabia and the United States."
Gore told the largely Saudi (the home of 16 of the 19 911
hijackers) audience, many of them educated
at U.S. universities, that Arabs in the United States had been
"indiscriminately rounded up, often on minor charges of
overstaying a visa or not having a green card in proper order,
and held in conditions that were just unforgivable."
"Unfortunately there have been terrible abuses and it's
wrong," AlGore (the sore-loser) said. "I do
want you to know that it does not represent the desires or
wishes or feelings of the majority of the citizens of my
country."

Mary Jo
Kopechne
If
it were not for Ted Kennedy, she
would have been 65 years of age by now
Read about her and her
killer:
When Sen. Ted Kennedy was merely just another Democrat bloating
on Capitol Hill on behalf of liberal causes, it was perhaps
excusable to ignore his deplorable past.
But now that he's become a leading Republican attack-dog,
positioning himself as Washington's leading arbiter of truth and integrity, the days for such
indulgence are now over.
It's time to stand up and remind America
why this chief democrat spokesman had to abandon his own presidential bid
in 1980 - time to say the words "Mary Jo Kopechne" out
loud.
As is often the case, Republicans have deluded themselves into
thinking that most Americans already know the story of how this
"Conscience of the Democratic Party" left Miss
Kopechne behind to die in the waters underneath the Edgartown
Bridge in July 1969, after a night of drinking and partying with
the young blonde campaign worker. But most Americans under 40
have never heard that story, or details of how Kennedy swam to
safety, then tried to get his cousin Joe Garghan to say he was
behind the wheel.
Those young voters don't know how Miss Kopechne, trapped inside
Kennedy's Oldsmobile, gasped for air until she finally died,
while the Democrats' leading Iraq war critic rushed back to his
compound to formulate the best alibi he could think of.
Neither does Generation X know how Kennedy was thrown out of
Harvard on his ear 15 years earlier -- for paying a fellow
student to take his Spanish final. Or why the
US
Army denied him a commission because he cheated on tests.
As they listen to the Democrats' "Liberal Lion" accuse
President Bush of "telling lie after lie after lie" to
get America to go to war in Iraq, young voters don't know about
that notorious 1991 Easter weekend in Palm Beach when Uncle
Teddy rounded up his nephews for a night on the town, an evening
that ended with one of them credibly accused of rape.
It's time for Republicans to state unabashedly that they will no
longer "go along with the gag" when it comes to Uncle
Ted's rants about deception and moral turpitude inside the Bush
White House.
And if the Republicans don't, let's do it ourselves by passing
this forgotten disgrace around the Internet to wake up memories
of what a fraud and fake Teddy really is.
The Democratic Party should be ashamed to have the national
disgrace from Massachusetts
as their spokesman.

November
4, 1979: Jimmy Carter is President and 53 Americans were
taken hostage by militant Iranian "students"
at the American Embassy in Tehran, Iran. These Americans
were held captive for 444 days under the watch of
democrat Jimmy Carter and it took almost half a year for
Carter to allow a rescue attempt.
After
almost SIX MONTHS, Carter finally gave the
authority to launch the mission on the night of April
24, 1980. At dusk eight RH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters
took off from the deck of the aircraft carrier Nimitz.
Their mission was to fly in darkness at low altitude, in
formation, across hostile Iranian territory to
rendezvous with the special C-130 aircraft at a location
called Desert One. A total of six C-130 aircraft had
already departed another location for Desert One.
The
mission was only two hours old when the first trouble
occurred. Because of severe mechanical problems, one
helicopter was forced to land and transfer crew and
equipment to another helicopter. A short time later the
C-130s followed by the RH-53s encountered an unexpected
dust storm that dangerously degraded visibility and made
navigation nearly impossible. As a result, a second
helicopter aborted the mission, turned around and
returned to the Nimitz.
The
C-130s arrived first at the Desert One refueling site
followed by the six remaining Sea Stallion helicopters.
Unfortunately, a third helicopter had developed a
hydraulic problem enroute to Desert One. The mission
plan required a minimum of six operational helicopters
to continue after the planned refueling. With this third
helicopter out, the decision was reluctantly made to
abort the rescue mission. Preparations were begun to
complete the refueling of the helicopters and evacuate
the site at Desert One.
Tragically, while an RH-53 helicopter was being
repositioned on the ground, its rotary blade struck the
fuselage of a C-130, setting the two aircraft ablaze. Three
Marines in the helicopter were killed and five Air Force
crew members died on the C-130. What a waste!
Carter
was such in incompetent boob. He had decimated our military
and many blame that decimation for this so-called rescue
fiasco. It unfortunately took these tragedies to wake
the American people up. President Reagan kicked his *ss
in the election and then let Carter take the glory in
their homecoming. Carter had no shame.
He had pictures made, waving and smiling that stupid
grin, with the people that his incompetence and lack of
decisiveness almost killed.
Carter is still giving interviews about this crisis as
if he contributed positively to it. I saw something on a
History TV-type channel just last week with Carter complaining
about how the kidnappers embarrassed him by not allowing
the plane the hostages were on to take off until AFTER
Reagan was sworn in. How selfish is this idiot? He
wasn't complaining that they poor hostages had to wait,
just that HE had to!

Vermont District Court Judge, Edward Cashman handed out a slap on the wrist
by
sentencing a man who raped a little girl many, many times over a
four-year span starting when she was seven to only 60-day jail
sentence to. He could've gotten 25 years, but Cashman said he no
longer believes in punishment.
Prosecutors argued that confessed child-rapist Mark Hulett,
34, of Williston deserved at least eight years behind bars for
repeatedly raping a littler girl countless times starting when
she was seven.
But Judge Edward Cashman disagreed explaining that he no
longer believes that punishment works.

DEMOCRATS SAID SADDAM HAD WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Here's what democrats said before and after the 2000 Presidential election of George W. Bush:
President Bill Clinton: "Mark my words, [Saddam] will develop weapons of mass destruction. He will deploy them, and he will use them... Iraq [is] a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists, drug traffickers or organized criminals who travel the world among us unnoticed. If we fail to respond today, Saddam, and all those who would follow in his footsteps, will be emboldened tomorrow by the knowledge that they can act with impunity... Some day, some way, I guarantee you he'll use the arsenal."
"[Saddam] will develop, deploy and use WMD." —Bill Clinton
Vice President Albert Gore: "Saddam's ability to produce and deliver weapons of mass destruction poses a grave threat... to the security of the world."
Madeleine Albright, Clinton Secretary of State: "We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and the security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction... Iraq is a long way from Ohio, but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risk that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Sandy Berger , Clinton National Security Advisor and Plea-Copping Classified Document Thief: "[Saddam will] use those weapons of mass destruction again as he has ten times since 1983."
"[Saddam] is too dangerous to be given carte blanche with WMD." —Harry Reid
Harry Reid : "The problem is not nuclear testing; it is nuclear weapons... The number of Third World countries with nuclear capabilities seems to grow daily. Saddam Hussein's near success with developing a nuclear weapon should be an eye-opener for us all. [Saddam] is too dangerous of a man to be given carte blanche with weapons of mass destruction."
John Kerry: "If you don't believe...Saddam Hussein is a threat with nuclear weapons, then you shouldn't vote for me."
John Edwards : "Serving on the Intelligence Committee and seeing day after day, week after week, briefings on Saddam's weapons of mass destruction and his plans on using those weapons, he cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons, it's just that simple. The whole world changes if Saddam ever has nuclear weapons."
Dick Durbin : "One of the most compelling threats we in this country face today is the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Threat assessments regularly warn us of the possibility that...Iraq...may acquire or develop nuclear weapons. [Saddam's] chemical and biological weapons capabilities are frightening."
"[Saddam's] chemical and biological weapons capabilities are frightening." —Dick Durban
Nancy Pelosi : "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology, which is a threat to countries in the region, and he has made a mockery of the weapons-inspection process."
Senators. Levin, Lieberman, Lautenberg, Dodd, Kerry, Feinstein, Mikulski, Daschle, Breaux, Johnson, Inouye, Landrieu, Ford and Kerry in a letter to Bill Clinton : "We urge you, after consulting with Congress and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions, including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Here's what Democrats were saying in advance of Operation Iraqi Freedom:
Harry Reid: "Saddam has thumbed his nose at the world community and I think the President is approaching this in the right fashion."
Ted Kennedy: "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
"Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." —Ted Kennedy
John Kerry : "I will be voting to give the president of the U.S. the authority to use force if necessary to disarm Saddam because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security... Without question we need to disarm Saddam Hussein... These weapons represent an unacceptable threat."
Hillary Clinton : "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological-weapons stock, his missile-delivery capability, his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists including al-Qa'ida members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons... I can support the President because I think it is in the long-term interests of our national security."
Nancy Pelosi: "Hussein has chemical and biological weapons, there is no question about that."
Nancy Pelosi: "Saddam Hussein certainly has chemical and biological weapons, there is no question about that."

- America has been killing people since we

- Sometimes, I just feel like bashing my

but I can't, because you've got to keep fighting. The stakes
are too high.
- If anybody had just come out and said in
the mainstream media that there's no reason for this war, my
son might be alive. Since the invasion, I think it's getting
worse. The mainstream media has become a propaganda tool for
the administration.
- I take responsibility partly for my
son’s death, too. I was raised in a country by a public
school system that taught us that America was good, that
America was just. America has been killing people, like my
sister over here says, since we first stepped on this
continent, we have been responsible for death and
destruction. I passed on that bullsh*t to my son and my son
enlisted.
I’m going all over the country telling moms: This
country is not worth dying for.
If we’re attacked, we would all go out. We’d all take
whatever we had. I’d take my rolling pin and I’d beat
the attackers over the head with it. But we were not
attacked by Iraq. We might not even have been attacked by
Osama bin Laden if..... 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get
their neo-con agenda through and, if I would have known that
before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada.
I would never have let him go and try and defend this
morally repugnant system we have. The people are good, the
system is morally repugnant.

Dickhead Durbin made the statements below

A real DICK.. Durbin (D)-Ill
"If I read this to you and did not
tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had
done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly
believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their
gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others -- that had no

Durbin, Tuesday, 06-14-2005.
"Thank you Illinois for

they do." - (FORMERdemocrat.com Webmaster)
Open Letter to Durbin:
Senator Durbin,
As one who was held in a North Vietnamese Prison for nearly seven years and whose definition of torture and bad treatment is somewhat at variance with yours, I deplore your senseless comments about alleged "barbaric treatment" at our terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo.
Your remarks comparing Guantanamo to the regimes of Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot are outrageous. I tried to think of why a rational human being could make such an outlandish statement but I keep coming up short. I thought I'd seen it all when Howard Dean performed his infamous scream in Iowa but your diatribe yesterday eclipsed Dean's moment of Hannibal Lecter lunacy. And your moment of pique will be infinitely more damaging to members of our Armed Forces serving in harm's way.
I noted, when searching for your contact information, that the first item Google came up with was al Jazeera's joy at your comments. You, sir, for having aided and abetted the enemy in time of war, have been relegated in my mind to the status of Jane Fonda and your colleague, John Kerry as contemptible traitors.
I hope not too many of our valiant members of the Armed Forces have to suffer for your stupid comments. Shame on you.
Sincerely,
Paul E. Galanti

SOCIAL SECURITY:
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA)
Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of
their annual incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to out into the Program would be
deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund"
rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be
used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as
income.
Since those who have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a
Social Security check every month -- are finding that they are getting
taxed on 85% of the money they paid to the Federal government to "put away,"
you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust"
fund and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social
Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democrat Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding
vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S.
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to
immigrants? (MY FAVORITE)
A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved
into this country, and at age 65, began to receive SSI Social Security
payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they
never paid a dime into it! Then, after doing all this lying and thieving
and violation of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and
tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And
the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it!
If enough people see this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and
maybe good changes will evolve.
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession, but it
now bears a very close resemblance to the first.

.. over 60,000 Iraqis now provide security to their fellow citizens.
.. nearly all of Iraq's 400 courts are functioning.
.. the Iraqi judiciary is fully independent.
.. on Monday, October 6 power generation hit 4,518 megawatts - exceeding the prewar average.

.. by October 1, Coalition forces had rehab-ed over 1,500 schools - 500 more than scheduled.
.. teachers earn from 12 to 25 times their former salaries.
.. all 240 hospitals and more than 1200 clinics are open.
.. doctors salaries are at least eight times what they were under Saddam.
.. pharmaceutical distribution has gone from essentially nothing to 700 tons in May to a current total of 12,000 tons.
.. the Coalition has helped administer over 22 million vaccination doses to Iraq's children.
.. a Coalition program has cleared over 14,000 kilometers of Iraq's 27,000 kilometers of weed-choked canals which now irrigate tens of thousands of farms. This project has created jobs for more than 100,000 Iraqi men and women.
.. we have restored over three-quarters of prewar telephone services and over two-thirds of the potable water production.
.. there are 4,900 full-service telephone connections. We expect 50,000 by year-end.
.. the wheels of commerce are turning. From bicycles to satellite dishes to cars and trucks, businesses are coming to life in all major cities and towns.
.. 95 percent of all prewar bank customers have service and first-time customers are opening accounts daily.
.. Iraqi banks are making loans to finance businesses.
.. the central bank is fully independent.
.. Iraq has one of the worlds most growth-oriented investment and banking laws.
.. Iraq has a single, unified currency for the first time in 15 years.
.. satellite TV dishes are legal.
.. foreign journalists aren't on 10-day visas paying mandatory and extortionate fees to the Ministry of Information for minders and other government spies.
.. there is no Ministry of Information.
.. there are more than 170 newspapers.
.. you can buy satellite dishes on what seems like every street corner.
.. foreign journalists (and everyone else) are free to come and go.
.. a nation that had not one single element - legislative, judicial or executive - of a representative government, now does.
... in Baghdad alone residents have selected 88 advisory councils. Baghdad's first democratic transfer of power in 35 years happened when the city council elected its new chairman.
.. today in Iraq chambers of commerce, business, school and professional organizations are electing their leaders all over the country.
.. 25 ministers, selected by the most representative governing body in Iraq's history, run the day-to-day business of government.
.. the Iraqi government regularly participates in international events. Since July the Iraqi government has been represented in over two dozen international meetings, including those of the UN General Assembly, the Arab League, the World Bank and IMF and, today, the Islamic Conference Summit. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today announced that it is reopening over 30 Iraqi embassies around the world.
.. Shia religious festivals that were all but banned, aren't.
.. for the first time in 35 years, in Karbala thousands of Shiites celebrate the pilgrimage of the 12th Imam.
.. the Coalition has completed over 13,000 reconstruction projects, large and small, as part of a strategic plan for the reconstruction of Iraq.
.. Uday and Queasy are dead - and no longer feeding innocent Iraqis to the zoo lions, raping the young daughters of local leaders to force cooperation, torturing Iraq's soccer players for losing games, or murdering critics.
.. children aren't imprisoned or murdered when their parents disagree with the government.
.. political opponents aren't imprisoned, tortured, executed, maimed, or are forced to watch their families die for disagreeing with Saddam.
.. millions of longsuffering Iraqis no longer live in perpetual terror.
.. Saudis will hold municipal elections.
.. Qatar is reforming education to give more choices to parents.
.. Jordan is accelerating market economic reforms.
.. the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded for the first time to an Iranian — a Muslim woman who speaks out with courage for human rights, for democracy and for peace.
.. Saddam is gone.
.. Iraq is free.
.. President Bush has not faltered or failed.
.. Yet, little or none of this information has been published by the Press corps that prides itself on bring you all the news that's important.
Iraq under US lead control has come further in six months than Germany did in seven years or Japan did in nine years following WWII. Military deaths from fanatic Nazi's, and Japanese numbered in the thousands and continued for over three years after WWII victory was declared.
It took the US over four months to clear away the twin tower debris, let alone attempt to build something else in its place.
Now, take into account that almost every Democrat leader in the House and Senate has fought President Bush on every aspect of his handling of this country's war and the post-war reconstruction; and that they continue to claim on a daily basis on national TV that this conflict has been a failure.
Taking everything into consideration, even the unfortunate loss of our sons and daughters in this conflict, do you think anyone else in the world could have accomplished as much as the United States and the Bush administration in so short a period of time?

DID YOU KNOW THIS?
Did you know that 47 countries have re-established their embassies in Iraq?
Did you know that the Iraqi government employs 1.2 million Iraqi people?
Did you know that 3100 schools have been renovated, 364 schools are under rehabilitation, 263 schools are now under construction and 38 new schools have been built in Iraq?
Did you know that Iraq's higher educational structure consists of 20 Universities, 46 Institutes or colleges and 4 research centers?
Did you know that 25 Iraq students departed for the United States in January 2004 for the re-established Fulbright program?
Did you know that the Iraqi Navy is operational? They have five 100-foot patrol craft, 34 smaller vessels and a navel infantry regiment.
Did you know that Iraq's Air Force consists of three operation squadrons, 9 reconnaissance and 3 US C-130 transport aircraft which operate day and night, and will soon add 16 UH-1 helicopters and 4 bell jet rangers?
Did you know that Iraq has a counter-terrorist unit and a Commando Battalion?
Did you know that the Iraqi Police Service has over 55,000 fully trained and equipped police officers?
Did you know that there are 5 Police Academies in Iraq that produce over 3500 new officers each 8 weeks?
Did you know there are more than 1100 building projects going on in Iraq? They include 364 schools, 67 public clinics, 15 hospitals, 83 railroad stations, 22 oil facilities, 93 water facilities and 69 electrical facilities.
Did you know that 96% of Iraqi children under the age of 5 have received the first 2 series of polio vaccinations?
Did you know that 4.3 million Iraqi children were enrolled in primary school by mid October?
Did you know that there are 1,192,000 cell phone subscribers in Iraq and phone use has gone up 158%?
Did you know that Iraq has an independent media that consist of 75 radio stations, 180 newspapers and 10 television stations?
Did you know that the Baghdad Stock Exchange opened in June of 2004?
Did you know that 2 candidates in the Iraqi presidential election had a recent televised debate recently?
OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!
WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW? OUR MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!
Because a Bush-hating media and Democratic Party would rather see the world blow up than lose their power.
Instead of shouting these accomplishments from every rooftop, they would rather show photos of what a few perverted malcontent soldiers have done in prisons in many cases never disclosing the circumstances surrounding the events.
Instead of showing our love for our country, we get photos of flag burning incidents at Abu Ghraib and people throwing snowballs at presidential motorcades.
The lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves only one purpose. It undermines the world's perception of the United States and our soldiers.
I AM ASHAMED OF MY FELLOW AMERICANS WHO WOULD RATHER SEE TERRORISM SUCCEED THAN A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT.

A tourist walked into a curio shop in San Francisco. Looking around at the
exotica, he noticed a very lifelike, life-sized bronze statue of a rat.
It had no price tag, but it was so striking he decided he must have
it.
He took it to the counter. "How much for the bronze rat?"
"Twelve dollars for the rat, one hundred dollars for the story," the owner
said.
The tourist gave the shop owner twelve dollars. "I'll take the rat. You
can keep the story."
As he walked down the street carrying the rat, he soon noticed that a few
real rats had crawled out of the alleys and sewers and began following
him. This was disconcerting, so he began walking faster. But within a
couple of blocks, the herd of rats behind him had grown to hundreds, and
they began squealing. He began to trot toward the Bay, but looking back he
saw that the rats now numbered in the millions, were squealing ever
louder, and coming toward him faster and faster. Now scared, he broke into
a run, then a full Olympic sprint to the edge of the Bay where he threw
the bronze rat as far out as he could muster.
Amazingly, the millions of rats all jumped into the Bay after the bronze
rat, and they all drowned. The man walked back to the curio shop.
"Aha!" said the owner. "You have come back for the story."
"No," said the man, "I came back to see if you have a bronze Democrat."

Man, I'm tired! (But I'm also elated!) I stayed up until
4:30 AM this morning watching the returns! For some reason I
didn't have a "good feeling" yesterday. Then when FOX
NEWS was saying after 8:00 PM that Kerry was leading most all
exit-polls, I was really depressed. They had Bush down 23 points
in Pennsylvania at one point. Juan William, FOX NEWS' token
liberal hack, was elated and they could hardly shut him up. I
guess it was around 9:30 or 10:00 PM that they realized the
"exit polling" might be bad wrong. I was as nervous as
a "long tailed cat in a room full of rockers" as they
reported and tabulated the results.
I couldn't resist channel surfing
to NBC, CNN, CNBC and even CBS. FOX and NBC first called Ohio.
(I think that Brit later became nervous about the early call as
they were told that 250,000 provisional ballots were still out.)
NBC soon called Ohio, but ABC or CBS did not. (It's 3:30 PM now.
John Kerry has given up, Bush has given his acceptance speech,
but has Dan Rather called the race yet?????) FOX called the
Senate seat in Kentucky for the Republican about 11:30 PM, but
Dan Rather refused to call it until about 2:30 AM!!!!!! I like
Tim Russert (even though he's a democrat) and was glad he has
his "electoral board" out again. He would calculate on
it the possibilities of the remaining uncalled states and what
each candidate needed to win. Chris Matthews is barely softer
than Bill Maher and I can hardly watch him.
I went to bed with the TV on and
woke up about 6:30, watched a little, turned it off and went
back to bed. I got up about 8:30 and watched until everyone (but
CBS) admitted President Bush had be re-elected. I was amazed
that when the national results were posted, Bush was leading
51-48%. It seemed to stay that way all night!
Kerry's speech was very good. He
was humble and even touched me, but Edward's was juvenile. He
was like a bratty kid who screams when he doesn't get his way
and I predict his political career is over!
Bush winning was great, but my
best moment was when my Democrat-for-life, 78 year-young dad
called me yesterday and said he voted "ALL
REPUBLICAN". I was sooooooo proud of him and told him so!
:-)
Thank you all and GOD BLESS
AMERICA!
PS: My "If I had one
(political) wish": (Either of these 3 options would suit
me):
A. Give each state only one electoral vote. (or)
B. Give each county one electoral vote. (or)
C. (as the original framers wished) Only property owners can
vote.

Below is my Pre-election copy. Enjoy!
|
I would like to accomplish 2 things
with this website:
(the rest will take care of itself.)
1. Realize that one of the most
important thing a President ever does is nominate Judges!
2. Everyone would stop watching ABC,
NBC, CBS news, as well as CNN, and get their
national & political news from "fair &
balanced" FOX NEWS!

A little about me
and ........................ how I became a Former democrat:
Confessions
of a Former Democrat.
I grew up in
Polk County Tennessee, so therefore, I was born a democrat. I
grew up playing in my "fort" that dad built for me, skinning knees,
being awakened every Christmas morning by a big "HO HO HO" from "Santa"
as he flew away & then running
to the tree to see what he left, going to the Benton Station Baptist Church,
being "Saved" up on Benton Mountain during an
"RA" camping outing, getting Baptized in the cold
Ocoee River below the old Reynold's bridge, taking only my
"taw" to school and coming home with both pockets
bulging with marbles (I
was very good), "hoopie-hide", watching Andy Griffith,
getting my first motorcycle at 13, riding Diane Burgess around
on my Honda 150 Dream, souping-up the '67
Camaro, going to the Star Vue Drive-In
and lots of other things a boy of the 50's in the South did.
My first
"job" came quite by accident. During Vacation Bible
School one Summer when I was about 10 I made a shoe-shine box.
It was crude, I guess, but it was functional. John & Dot
Cassada owned the local "store" that was just a 1/4
mile down the road. For some reason I took my shoe-shine kit
down there and bought some black and brown shoe polish. (I guess
I borrowed dad's shoe brush.) Anyway, I asked some of the locals
on the porch if they wanted their shoe shined for a quarter and
a few of them did. One shine paid for an entire can of shoe
polish and I thought that was the greatest thing. (I guess I've
been an entrepreneur ever since.)
I
have great parents. They are both very hard-working.
When I was growing-up they didn't make a lot of money, BUT they managed it well. They never told me
"manage you money wisely", but I guess I learned it by
example. Mom
couldn't have any more children, so I got lots of love. (Yes,
I'm spoiled!)
I later came
to know that for as long as there has been dirt the
democrats party ruled Polk county. My first memory of dad
talking about voting was something to the effect of: "I
checked democrat and pulled the lever." I didn't know what
that meant at the time, but it sounded powerful.
The first
vote for President I cast was for Jimmy Carter in 1976.
According to the news (and Saturday Night Live), Ford was only
famous for falling down. Plus, he pardoned that crook, Nixon.
Plus, Carter was a regular Southerner like me. Plus, my daddy
votes democrat. Plus, my grand-daddy voted democrat. Plus, we
only vote democrat in Polk County. Right? (I do remember mom
coming back from voting once and laughingly telling dad: "I just
cancelled your vote.", though.)
In November
of 1975, at the age of 24, I started TAPE CITY, an independent
record store, in Athens TN in another county with $5,000 I
borrowed from John Taylor at Benton Bank on a "6 month
note". (ALL the banks in Athens turned me down.) Initially I was too busy with working 12 hours
a day, seven days a week (all ALONE) to pay attention to
politics. I was "chief cook and bottle washer" and
used the common sense my parents had given me to make a go of
it. I paid back $1,000, plus interest at the end of the first 6
months and got another note for $4,000. (The next time I paid
$1,000 plus interest. The next time I paid it ALL off!) Sometime
during the first year I had a couple of high-school students and was becoming able to breathe a little. I
then started to see the "Real World" out there. Four
years of Carter had given us: gas lines, the Iran Hostage
Crisis, high inflation, high interest rates (I thought I got a
deal when I later paid "only" 17% interest to buy a
building), gas lines, depleted military, etc......
Then came
Ronald Reagan running for president as a Republican. I'd never
heard of him, but ABC, NBC & CBS (then they were my only 3
options) must have. After listening to them on the evening news
I gathered Reagan must've been over 100 years old. He must have
had "hardening of the arteries", too. He had been an
actor, but his only movies were with a monkey. And, if he ever
got his hand on "the button", he would get us all
killed in a nuclear war! (Scary, huh?)
BUT..... here
and there I got to hear clips of him speaking and no amount of
biased, liberal media spin could cover up the truth. Because of
the great Ronald Wilson Reagan I BECAME A FORMER DEMOCRAT! It
was no contest. I learned that I WAS A CONSERVATIVE! I WAS A
REPUBLICAN! In November 1980 I VOTED FOR REAGAN!!!!!!
I remember
watching the 1980 election results on my TV at Tape City with
"Big-T" (a regular customer who happened to wander
that evening in and stayed
to watch with me). We stayed there after hours. I remember our
commenting on the pictures of the candidates they had posted on
the screen. Carter was higher with a flattering version of his
goofy smile. Reagan was below him with a purposely-chosen
unflattering image. (We were both yelling "LOOK AT THAT! UNFAIR!" at
the screen!) It was wonderful to see the beaten faces of the
anchors as the results came pouring in. And, when they finally
begrudgingly announced Reagan the winner..... WE CHEERED!
I remain a former
democrat because I do not want to "get into bed" with
(vote the same way as) liberals, extreme environmentalists,
gays, lesbians, NAACP, ACLU, PETA, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings,
Tom Brokaw, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and on and on.
[ I AM A
CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE, THEREFORE I AM A REPUBLICAN! -
(FORMERdemocrat.com Webmaster) ]
At this time
the Republican Party better represents my values much more than
the democrat party does.

Jokes:
The hot air balloon
A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat
below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude."
She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."
"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."
The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."
"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"
"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you
are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you
expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now
it's my fault.

Schilling Makes Surprise Stop for Bush (AP
story)
WILMINGTON, Ohio - Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling made a surprise appearance Monday morning with President Bush (news - web sites), limping to the stage to give Bush a strong endorsement.
Schilling won Game 2 of the World Series (news - web sites) and Game 6 of the American League championship series with his ankle stitched to protect a torn sheath around a tendon. He was expected to undergo surgery this week, and had canceled an appearance with Bush on Friday.
Monday morning, he wore a protective boot over the ankle as he and his wife made their way to the stage inside an airplane hangar.
The ace pitcher said Bush was a commander in chief who will ensure troops "have everything they need to get the job done, a leader who believes in their mission and honors their service, a leader who has the courage and the character to stay on the offense against terrorism until the war is won."
Bush stood next to him, and they embraced afterward.
"On Tuesday, we need you to get out and vote. We need you to get your friends and neighbors out to vote — tell them you're voting for President Bush and get them on board, too," Schilling said. "I know everybody wants to be on a winning team, and there's plenty of room on this bandwagon."
Osama/Usama bin Laden releases pro-Kerry video
Osama bin Laden
(the man who masterminded all the attacks on the WTC) attacks
president Bush, via a video, this weekend.
Kerry immediately uses Bin Laden's video to promote himself.
bin Laden can only attack us with a video because Bush and our
military has them busy "steppin' & fetchin'" to do
much else.
Osama threatens
to attack all US States that vote for Bush. (Are you going to
let him threaten us???)
Are you democrats
not upset that bin Laden is parroting your verbal attacks on
President Bush?????
(BY THE WAY: When
did the spelling of this walking dead man's name change for O to
U?????)
BoSox Hero, Curt Schilling, Endorses Bush for President
Curt Schilling, star pitcher for the Boston
Red Sox [who reigned victorious in the World Series Wednesday
night] appeared on "Good Morning, America," Thursday
10/28/2004, where he endorsed Bush for president.
Host Charlie Gibson said to Schilling and his
wife, Shonda: "You both have certainly lifelong membership
now in the Red Sox nation. It was a great thing to watch, and I
think everybody — whether they were great Red Sox fans or not
— had to admire what this team did. It was extraordinary, and
one of the great stories of sport. And sport always produces
such great stories. Curt, Shonda, great to have you with us.
Congratulations."
Curt
Schilling: "And make sure you tell everybody to vote, and
vote Bush next week."
Gibson acted as it Schilling had said the
"F" word or something and nervously said:
"Whoa, all right. Something else that divides the nation as
well."
I wonder if 'ol Charlie will be fired by
ABC for allowing such "blasphemy" on a liberal
network.) If ABC would've had a 5-second delay in place, would
Curt have been "beeped"?????) (See my "Media
Bias" section below.)
The Terminator believes in Bush!

My BLOG

Today I received a passed-around email from a friend that
intrigues me.
If Kerry gets elected, we sane people may have a place to
go.
I've put it on a website: Click HERE

Last night I was talking with the business owner. He had the
MSNBC news on and I asked him how the election was going to turn
out. He said he hoped Kerry would win as he "couldn't take
any more of these high gas prices" I was about to remind
him that Kerry had wanted to put a 50-cent per gallon tax on
gas, but he continued to tell me that he had already voted. So,
I just decided to let sleeping idiots lie.
10-25-2004
It is estimated that 300,000 people were slaughtered during Saddam's
rule and dumped into 40 different mass grave sites around the
country! But Kerry supporters say we should have done
nothing.

| Here's my BIGGEST gripe in politics.
I don't mind all the (liberals, atheists,
gays, welfare deadbeats, etc...)
in my democrat columns above voting that way. There are not that
many of them and they would be easy to defeat.
What gripes me are so-called-Christians who
go to church every Sunday, but then suddenly forget their
values when they put a political sign in their yard and/or
get in the voting booth.
Oh, they'll be the first to complain
about "the government" taking the TEN COMMANDMENTS out of our courthouse here in
Monroe County and all public buildings across the country.
They believe abortion is wrong. (Unless their daughter
gets pregnant).
They believe gay marriage is wrong.
They don't understand who would take "UNDER GOD"
out of the pledge.
They complain when we can't say a prayer before a ball
game.
But, they still vote for a freakin' democrat, left-wing,
liberal just 'cause daddy did!
OR, they'll pick
out ONE ISSUE ("this economy") and hang on to it
just to justify their SELLING THEIR SOULS.
They'll ask me to go to church with them.
Why would I go to a church where the preacher doesn't
encourage it's members to vote against liberals?
Why would I go to a church where drinking a beer sends you
to hell, but voting democrat doesn't??? |
|
10-23-2004
The democrats (spits) are screaming that we should get out
of Iraq because we've spent so much money. Why do they not want
us to end the "War on Poverty" when we've spent NINE [9]
TRILLION DOLLARS (can you count that high?) on it??????
$9,000,000,000,000.00
10-22-2004
I early-voted today! A young girl came
in after me and she said it was her first time. I didn't know
her, but I was proud of her. I then paid my county taxes as well
as my truck tag & wheel tax renewal. I also went by
the local Republican Headquarters to get another yard sign to
replace the one some Kerry supporter tore down. I thought
of the perfect election system: IF YOU DON'T PAY TAXES, YOU
DON'T VOTE!
10-21-2004
I have no argument with the group I pictured above (liberals,
lesbians, gays, welfare recipients, etc...) in voting for
democrats (spits). My problem is with working people,
Christians, business owners who blindly vote democrat (spits).
If you've ever talked to them they'll have just ONE THING about
Bush they don't like. One of my democrat (spits) neighbor said
he was against our going to Iraq. I asked him if he rather our
trained troops fight them over there than here. (He didn't have
much of reply.) Another said something about his stocks taking a
hit. I asked him if he could say "911".
10-20-2004
This says it all about Kerry's wife,
Teresa Heinz Kerry:
In an interview in Wednesday's USA
Today, the newspaper asked Teresa Heinz Kerry if she would be different from Laura Bush as a first lady.
"Well, you know, I don't know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good," Heinz Kerry said. "But
I don't know that she's ever had a real job. I mean, since she's been grown-up. So her experience and her validation comes from important things, but different things."
(I guess Ms. Heinz doesn't think that a
SCHOOL TEACHER or a LIBRARIAN is important.)
10-12-2004:
I'm really getting ticked now. Poor
Christopher Reeves was barely cold and the democrats are out
blaming Bush! John Edwards basically said the if they get
elected people like Reeves will be able to "get up and
walk".
Here's the truth on stem cell
research:
-
Stem cell research is
basically the practice of growing "test tube
babies" to later dissect parts of them for research.
-
Bush is the ONLY president to
allow government funds to pay for stem cell research on
embryos that were already damaged.
-
Bush is NOT banning stem cell
research. (Did you hear me? Bush is NOT banning stem cell
research. )
-
Bush is simply refusing to
use more tax dollars to do so.
-
John Kerry can write a check
on his wife's account to pay for stem cell research if he
feels so strongly for it
Latest John Kerry
FLIP-FLOP:
Several weeks ago Kerry wrongly accused Bush of having a secret
plant with the Saudis to drastically lower fuel prices right
before the election and called it terrible. Now that fuel prices
have soared, Kerry is claiming that Bush should do something
about the high prices!?!?!
When Kerry says: "I'm going
to get more allies on board."
He really means: "I'm going to get France's okay before I
do anything."
Kerry said in an interview
published on Sunday in The New York Times Magazine: "We
have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not
the focus of our lives but they're a nuisance."
10-11-2004:
TWO QUESTIONS:
Question #1. A loved-one is terribly sick and rushed to the hospital. Tests show there were bitten by a Brown
Recluse spider. Your loved-one remembers a sting while sleeping,
so you come home angry from the hospital, get your can of Raid and search the
bedroom. You search the bedroom for days to no avail, so you
look in the hall closet. There you find a Black Widow spider.
Do you:
a. Squash the Black Widow because they are also dangerous or
b. Shut the door to keep it from getting out, but do not hurt it
because it wasn't the exact spider who hurt your loved one.
Question #2: You're looking for Osama Bin Laden (responsible for the
911 terrorists attacks ) and ...............
10-10-2004:
OK. Here's the skinny: John
Kerry will say anything to get elected!
to see a Documentary of John Kerry IN HIS OWN WORDS!
He FLIP-FLOPS (switches positions) whenever it helps him
politically.
Here's all you need to know:
* JOHN KERRY VOTED AGAINST OUR
GOING TO WAR IN 1991 to kick Sadaam out of Kuwait!
* John Kerry was FOR this war, until John Dean was
leading in the democratic primaries, so Kerry flipped to counter
Dean.
* 20 years in Congress Kerry voted against the weapons that
Reagan used to win the Cold War.
Do you want Ted Kennedy for
President? Then why vote for Kerry? He is one of the most
LIBERAL Senators in Washington.
My biggest pet-peeve:
Conservatives and/or Christians who vote democrat "because
Daddy did". (shudders)
10-09-2004:
I watched the 2nd debate last night and was
encouraged that "Dubya" did so well. He was on his
game last night. He winked, smiled, cracked jokes (That
answer made me want to scowl.), etc.... Kerry was the one
who stammered and stuttered this time. I feared the questions
would be loaded in favor of Kerry, but they were very good.
Kerry walked over to Bush several times (ala Gore). (I wanted
Bush to tell Gore in 2000: "If you come over here one more
time, I'm gonna kick your *ss!", but I guess that would be
a little too "cowboy".)
Kerry was hit with two very
direct questions that made him ramble, quantify, etc... My
favorite was when the girl asked him why he would take her tax
money to pay for abortions, which she opposed. He went into his
version of "I feel your pain", but (to paraphrase
Lloyd Benson: "......... He ain't no Bill Clinton!").
I love FOX NEWS, but I've been
ticked off at them a little this year.
Each night after the Republican
convention speeches were over I flipped between FOX and NBC. NBC
kicked their butt! They had a good balance of "talking
heads" and the conservatives gave better than they
got. I think they're gun-shy from being called RIGHT
WINGERS, so they're going left to prove they're not!
Bill O'Reilly had a particular
discussion on 10-06-2004 with Tammy Bruce (whom he introduced as
a "Conservative Talk Show Host") and Juan Williams
(only introduced as "Fox News contributor"). They
never introduce Juan or Eleanor Clift as "Fox
News token, liberal hack".
Why?????
During the VP debate they had a
banner at the bottom of the screen saying: "VICE PRESIDENTIAL
DEBATE" that blocked out the "timing lights"!
(Did they think we didn't know what we were watching?? (I
switched over to NBC to watch the debate.)
Last night after the debate, none
of their "talking heads" thought Bush won. Not even
Fred!?!?!?! (I guess I'll just have to wait for Monday at Noon
to hear Rush's take on it. SEE YA FOR NOW!

MEDIA BIAS!
In September
1985, Ronald Reagan came to speak in my little town of Athens
TN. My mom came up and I closed my store so we could go. He was
to speak from the top of the courthouse steps and they had
blocked off downtown Athens. Mom & I got within 20 feet of
the bottom steps, over on the left side, so we were in a good
spot. Behind us, someone had built platforms on the sidewalk for
the news cameras. (I think it's so they can film over our
heads). We also saw about four protesters with signs. They were
in the side street, way over on the right side of the
courthouse. At the time I thought it odd and thought to myself:
"Why are they over there? There's no way that President
Reagan can even see them. (I knew none of them and would bet the
farm they were not even from here.)
Anyway, the
crowd grew to an estimated 36,000 in a town of about half that
size. The program started, Pam Thigpen sung the National
Anthem, local dignitaries got to speak, etc........ And
then........ the President came out. It was great! I had my 35mm
with a zoom lens and got some great shots. (I need to find 'em
after my recent move.) I remember laughing when he said
something to effect of: "I always wanted to come to
Athens, but contrary to popular belief, I did NOT study under
Plato!" After the speech, he was given a personalized
saddle from the Athens Saddle Company. He really beamed when he
was presented with it. (I'd like to know what happened to it.)
He always reminded me of my Grandfather, Junior Fox Tinsley,
when he was younger for some reason. (And, it's odd that Alzheimer's
took them both.)
What does
this all have to do with media bias?, you ask. Well, I'll tell
you how I grew up a lot in 1985. When I got home that evening I
just had to watch the news. (ABC, NBC & CBS is all I had at
that time.) Finally a teaser: "Regan speaks at small
Tennessee town." As I'm glued to the TV the story starts
with something like: "Reagan speaks before thousands in
Athens Tennessee, a small town, today." BUT, what do
they show????? You guess it! The cameras behind us were not
raised so they could get a "better shot". They were
raised so that they could film the President then simply pan to
the right and see no one but protesters. No pro-Reagan signs or
persons were seen. They would pan back to Reagan and then the
protesters. So, what did "Joe six-pack" who was not
there think? I'll tell you what he thought: "Thousand come
out to protest Reagan in small-town Tennessee!"
I know I
shouldn't hate, but I hate these media b*stards. Poor 'ol
Maws & Paws sit on the couch every evening eating their
suppers (dinner to you non-Southerners) and think whatever Tom
Brokaw, Peter Jennings and Dan Rather say is gospel. They don't
realize it's all crafted to influence them, rather (no pun
intended) than simply report the news. I believe if it were not
for the liberal media and their 40 years of propaganda
this race would not even be close. Heck if they were fair,
democrats would only make up 30% of the elected offices, if that
much.
Brit Hume was fired by ABC a
few years ago because he asked then-president Clinton a question
other than the allowed "softball" questions. (Accepted
questions: What brand of cigars do you prefer?, Boxers or
briefs?, etc..
Little Suzy
had a box of very small kittens that she was to give away, so
she had them out on the street corner with a sign "FREE
KITTENS" next
to them. Suddenly a long line of big black cars came up with a
policeman
on a motorcycle in front. The cars all stopped and a tall man
stepped out
from the biggest car. "Hi, little girl, what do you have
there in the
box?", he asked. "Kittens," Little Suzy says.
"They're so small, their
eyes are not even open yet." "What kind of kittens are
they?" he asked.
"Democrats," says Little Suzy. The tall man smiled,
returned to his car
and they drove away. Sensing a good photo opportunity, Sen. John
Kerry
called his campaign manager and told him about the little girl
and the
kittens. It was planned that they would return the next day,
have all
the media there and tell everyone about these great kittens. The
next
day, Little Suzy is standing out on the corner with her box of
kittens
with the "FREE KITTENS" sign and the big motorcade of
black cars pulled
up with all the vans and trucks from ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN.
Everyone
had their cameras ready and then, Sen. Kerry got out of his limo
and
walked up to Little Suzy. "Now don't be frightened,"
he said, "I just want
you to tell all these nice news people just what kind of kittens
you're
giving away today. "Yes, sir," Suzy said, "they
are all REPUBLICAN
kittens." Taken by surprise, Sen. Kerry said, "But
yesterday, you told
me that they were DEMOCRATS."
Little Suzy says, "Yes, I know. But today, they have
their eyes open."

Kerry goes goose hunting!
[Ever wonder why the most liberal Senator tries to sound &
act like a "Regular Guy" only when running against
Bush???]
Are you curious why he had someone else carry his goose???

YOU VOTE DEMOCRAT, YOU PROBABLY HAVE YOUR HAND OUT FOR
SOMETHING!"

"Real
Men Like Bush" -
(the late) Kelly
Burden
I became and remain a Republican for many
reasons.
Here are a few:
* Most Democrat party campaign slogans can be
summed up in one word: BOO!
(To scare people.)
(Democrats try to scare old
people telling them we're going to take away their Social
Security, the Medicare or their Medicaid.)
(They used to say Reagan would
"push the button", etc.....) They have nothing but
fear to offer!
-
Democrats typically believe in: Higher Taxes,
BIG
Government, Cutting the Military, the U.N., etc..
-
Republicans typically believe in: A strong Military, Freedom
from government intrusion, Lower Taxes, ..
-
Kerry will do and say anything to get elected.
-
Bush made tough decisions to keep us safe despite the fact
they may cost him the election.
-
I do NOT agree with taking "under
God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance!
-
I do NOT agree with forcible removal of the
TEN COMMANDMENTS from our court houses!
-
A democrat will scream to high heaven about
the daily loss of an estimated 3 armed & trained
warriors in Iraq.
-
Yet, a democrat will then support the daily
murder (abortion) of 4,000 innocent, defenseless
babies here!
-
Two democrats propose a draft, then the
democrat hacks will send emails claiming Bush wants it!
|

|
"I didn't leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me."
- President Ronald Reagan. |

|

conspiracy that all pictures of Hillary are unflattering,
vote democrat.
-
If you want to legalize drugs
and ban handguns, vote democrat.
-
If you feel Rush Limbaugh is
a lier, but have never listened to him, vote democrat.
-
If you realize that stores
raise money by cutting prices, but can't understand how tax
cuts work, vote democrat.
-
If you feel John Kerry will
only raise taxes on the rich, vote democrat.
-
If you actually know what
Watergate was and still think it was the most terrible event
ever, vote democrat.
-
If you actually know what
Chappaquiddick was and still think Ted Kennedy should be in
government, vote democrat.
-
If you feel what went on in
the Oval Office with Monica was presidential, vote democrat.
-
If you feel 5.4% unemployment
was great in the Clinton term, but terrible under Bush, vote
democrat.
-
If you think....... (What am I
thinking? I'll rephrase:) If you "feel" instead of
think and use reason, vote democrat.
-
If you believe that anyone
can fly National Guard fighter planes, vote democrat.

If you believe it's okay that
the only time a candidate goes to church is to campaign,
vote democrat.
-
If you believe it's okay for
union thugs to blow up the houses of scabs, vote democrat.

The
lifeblood of the Republican Party is made up of new faces and new voices. The history of the GOP
is filled with fresh, dynamic voices from across the
political spectrum - including quite a few former
Democrats. One of them was Ronald Reagan, who explained
his own party switch like this: "because I did my own
speeches and did the research for them, I just woke up to
the realization one day that I had been going out and
helping to elect the people who had been causing the
things I had been criticizing."
Recently, many who were elected as
Democrats saw the light. Mississippi Lt. Governor Amy
Tuck, former New York Congressman Herman Badillo, Senators
Ben Nighthorse Campbell and Richard Shelby, and current
Representatives Billy Tauzin and Nathan Deal. As Senator
Shelby put it, he was tired of belonging to "a party
of dependency" deciding instead to join the
"party of hope for America" - the GOP.
Millions of Americans today, including
many who've never voted for Republicans before, are
responding to President Bush's leadership and positive
agenda for building a safer, stronger and better America.
Every year, thousands of former Democrats and independents
realize that they've really been Republicans all along,
and make the switch.

Republicans typically believe the government should cut taxes
and reduce spending, whereas Democrats choose to use federal
spending to stimulate the economy.
Democrats want to "Tax the rich". What do they
think "the rich" do with their money? Put in in their
mattress? Bury in in the backyard? NO! They spend and/or invest
it and THAT is what stimulates the economy!
I shouldn't even have to argue that point because: "IT'S
THEIR F-ing MONEY!" The earned it only to have John Kerry,
Ted Kennedy, etc.... put a gun to their head and take it from
them.
It ticks me off that democrats believe the government can
spend money more efficiently.

Babies know!

Republicans think! Democrats feel!
They don't have to do anything to help a situation, they
just want to "feel better" that they tried to help.

Kerry wants HIS gun,
but doesn't want YOU to own one. |
 |

Funny how democrats try
to look like Republicans during elections, isn't it? |
"A
free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they
should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status
of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which
would include their own government."
--George Washington

I fear the Kerry supporters
are too smart for us.
