I want to buy a NICE 1962 Chevrolet Impala, a nice cruiser

I want it to be turn-key, ready to drive cross-country car with NO PROBLEMS, NO ISSUES, NO "90% complete", NO "project" cars, NO "barn finds".

(I'm not buying a JOB!)

I want it to have new/rebuilt running gear, brakes, suspension, etc...

NEW crate motor with a little cam, automatic transmission, bench seat, column shift

NO 22" ghetto wheels on a 1960s car of mine. (That's blasphemy!)

MONTE CARLO PARTS WANTED:

Want to buy: The speedometer lens assembly that covers the speedometer and other gauges.

(The assembly is two parts attached together.
The front part is the clear plastic lens ("clear gauge cover") that protects the speedo, clock, etc... from dust. It has one small hole on the right side for the clock stem.)
The back part is "gauge blackout" made of a dark plastic with 2 larger openings for the speedometer and clock and 4 small openings for the gauges in the middle.)

This is to fit a 1984 non-SS Monte Carlo.

(I  have heard that 82-87 years of Monte Carlo, Chevelle and El Camino may work, but I'm no expert on that.)

NOTE: This is NOT an SS / Super Sport car, so it should have only one (1) hole on the right side for the stem that sets the time on the clock.

(It does not have a tach.)

It should be free of scratches and no broken mounting areas or "ears". (I'll just keep the original if that's the case.)

I would also like to have an un-broken headlight switch plastic mounting bracket.

(This is for my cool 81 year-young Dad's '84 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with 350 crate motor, Holley 4-bbl, headers, Flowmasters, spoiler, Rally wheels and cold air!)

I would also like to have an un-broken headlight switch mounting bracket. (Dad's is broken on the right side.

I want to buy a 26" BICYCLE w/3-speed coaster brake hub (with internal gears), 1.75" (or larger) tires, fenders and a comfy 1960s style seat.

I found a new one on eBay for $179, but shipping is $49.99
I would like to find a used one for less money.

Wanted a 15" wheel & tire that'll work as a spare in my '66 Chevelle.

All I want is a clean steel where with a good tire that holds air. The wheel doesn't have to be original. (5 lug, 4-3/4" bolt circle) No rusty wheels.

Wheel must clear disc brakes, though.

I prefer the tire to be 28.88" (29" okay) height as my car has posi-traction unit in the 12-bolt differential. 235-75x15 would be an okay size.
 

WANT TO BUY a Nice Pontoon Boat

I'm looking for something for my family to enjoy.
I only live about 9 miles from Parksville Lake (Lake Ocoee to you 'furriners') and have a shed to keep it in the dry.

Must be a newer model with NO problems.

Must be in great shape.

Must look good AND function properly.

Must have a trailer.

Power trim is a plus.

Prefer 20' - 22' length range.
(I might consider an 18 foot if it's laid-out really well, but 24's are really too cumberson.)

Should be complete with ladder(s), bumpers, jackets, fire ext., etc...

A Bimini top would be nice.

Must have comfortable couches suitable for lounging and sun bathing.

I don't want a fishing seat or trolling motor on it.

NOTE: Must be a BARGAIN, at a GREAT PRICE.
(Don't contact me if you're asking anywhere near "book" price.)

So....... If you have a pontoon you need to move, I'm your guy.

Play Desk
This was the neatest desk! 
You could turn the knobs on the side and different scenes would show up. 
There was a blackboard on the desk part with ABC's, chalk, eraser. You could interchange it with a pegboard that came with different colored pegs. You could lift it up and there was storage underneath. It had a built-in seat, too.

I played with my roadgrader in Cam and Lucille Cook's woods behind us, building roads and just digging.
(Cam had someone come and cut some timber off it once and I think the "d" wooders stole it and my steam shovel!)

The box for my old Marx Train set.

My uncle, Leach L. Lea, Jr., bought it for me around Christmas 1953 when he was going to the University of Tennessee. (Mom teases Pop, saying he and Jr. put me in the playpen so they could play with it.)

It had a Marx 400 Engine and 6" 4-wheel cars with plastic, fixed knuckle couplers. 
There was an NYC Tender, NYC Caboose, Tank car and Hopper Car.
Like most people, the box got tossed. I don't think it had the red lettering, though.

The set number MAY have been: Marx 9616 or 9616-A , but I'm not sure.

Any ideas?????

I wonder if my hauler was a STRUCTO. 
What puzzles me are the number of dimples in the lower side of the hauler body. It appears there are at least seven dimples, but the Structo Auto Haulers on eBay I've seen only have about four dimples. Can anyone help??? 
I've played with the images to try to get a couple of versions to help with identification.
(Note: The original photo was not sharp, so the enlarged images you'll see  is as good as it gets.)

WANTED: 

I had a rifle that shot plastic bullets.

I thought it might have been a "The Rifleman" rifle, but the ones I've found on eBay

are not like it at all. (Maybe it was a knock-off or some other Western show!?!?!? 

 I'll describe it, as best I can remember:

It was NOT a cap rifle. It shot soft, plastic bullets. It seems they had a small hole in the front and the back
was open. They may have been the size of a 38. I think they were launched
with a spring when you cocked the rifle. (You may could load more than one at a time,
but I'm not sure.) My buddies and I probably tore it up and it was tossed.

I remember it was a toy that dropped bombs. 
You held it and looked down through a "sight" and released a bomb at your target of choice. 
It was gray and red plastic. 
It came with a play mat that looked like the sea for the boat targets.
There were ship targets that flew apart when hit.
(I think the targets were held together by rubber bands.)

I think it was about 3" long and was plastic. (You twisted the bottom off to remove the shavings.)

The tank runs forwards and backwards. Fires it's shells and ejects the casing. 

 It came with: 8 shells, plus 8 shell casings. 
A shell clip holder, a casing's clip, a flag  

The white ring that holds the barrel should not be cracked.

(I won one on eBay, but had forgotten they don't shoot stoppers.)

I had several little airplanes. 
They were hard rubber or plastic and only about 2" long.
(They were so small that they didn't have props, but they were pretty well detailed.)
I remember one was a B-52, but can't remember what the others were.
(They probably came in a bag from Woolworth's or somewhere similar.)

I think these came in cereal boxes.
(I got this image off an auction site, but the one I remember was prone.)
You put baking soda in him and he would go up and down in the water.

6" Marx WWII Soldiers
I had green Army, yellow (pre-PC) Japs & gray German. 
They were about 6 inches tall.
(I liked to set 'em up and shoot 'em with my BB gun.)
I think I would buy them at Woolworth's in Cleveland TN with my allowance. (Maybe 10 cents each??)

Robert the Robot was made in the 50's and 60's 
I don't know where mine went!?!?!?
Must be in excellent condition and at a fair price. (I would consider one for parts)!

Please look at it closely. 
The ones I've seen on eBay are different in these ways: 
The tower is in the center, 
the "clock" in the tower is rectangular in shape, 
my gas pumps were centered on the front and a dark color (I think they were red)

This was a neat fire truck. 
It was red and I think it had two ladder cranks on it.
I also think the cranks were chrome. (I thought the ladders were chrome, but they look painted in this pic.)
I remember it was well-built and not of cheap, flimsy construction.

WANTED: Convertible High Chair as I had in the 50's.
My Mom purchased this hi-chair new at Stamper's / Stampers Store in Cleveland, TN in 1952 or 1953
It broke-down to make a table.
I believe the wheels were white plastic.
It may have had a decal on the seat back???
Some people can't believe I can still remember it!
I think it may have been a Storkline Hi Chair, Stork Line High Chair, Storkline, Hichair, Stork line highchair.

Christmas 1965, I was 13 and Dad got me a 
deluxe Allstate Moped (by Puch)
It had rear shocks, speedometer and a chrome luggage rack with a spring loaded "lid" to hold items.
I think he ordered from Sears and drove to Atlanta to pick it up. (I think it cost $199.00!)

Many times I would ride it up to Steve Harbison's house, he would grab a boat cushion of his Game Warden dad's boat, toss it on the luggage rack and here we'd go. It eventually damaged the spring on the rack. Steve Burgess got one a few months later (it didn't have rear shock, speedo or a luggage rack) and we went everywhere trying to see how many miles we could log each day as well as explore roads we had never been on before.

A couple of years later dad traded my Mo-ped to Wayne Woody for a 
1965 Honda Dream
Man! This think was nice! (I kept scars on the inside of my legs from exhaust pipe burns, though.)
