Several years ago I was
helping my parents clean out the apartment above their garage and
found my old train set.
BUT, the blue hopper car was missing. (I had not seen this set in 40 years and
couldn't believe I remember that car.)
My uncle, Leach L. Lea,
Jr., bought it for me around Christmas 1953 when I was 18 months old and he was
going to the University of Tennessee.
(Mom teases Pop, saying he and Uncle Jr. put me in the playpen so they
could play with it.)
After being in a box for 40 years..... the engine still ran! Well, I was on a mission to find my missing car.
After weeks of looking I heard about an old New Yorker who had moved down South and had trains. He had my car!

It must be a nice, dependable, comfortable driver. A "drive anywhere" car.
I do not want a Corvair or Camaro or Chevy II or any Pony car. (been there done that).
